ANOTHER Banana????

Holy cow my banana is having a baby!! I spotted this little guy yesterday shooting up out of the soil. The mother plant is starting to look strange again and I'm wondering if the mites are coming back. Now I have to read up on how to separate the baby without killing either one. If anyone reading this knows how let me know! I'd love to finally have a healthy one of these things!!
