Verrrrry cool about those silly caterpillars!! : ) I pray when they come out they will be beeeeeeautifulllll...well of COURSE they will be ; ) DUH MEL lol
In any case, that's amazing the "little" one grew as big as it did in just one day...well, not amazing..it IS a work of God : )
Thanks for sharing! I would love to do this same thing one day...they are cool 'creatures,' for sure.
Depending on what time of year it is, they can either be impossible to find or you find a bunch at once! They only eat milkweed so you have to look on those. If you see a mass of milkweed anywhere go into it and look under the leaves. Just be careful because hornets and bees like it too! So far I've never been stung...cross my fingers! The "little" one doubled in size again and I bet by the time I get home tonight they will both be in cocoons!
Thanks for commenting :)
Ahhhh, yes, I see what you're saying about trying to find those caterpillars : ) and wooooow, the 'little' one doubled in size again. You're right...it probably WILL be in a cocoon by the time you get home tonight...oh wait, that was Wed., last night. HUH...soooo, I wonder... ; )
